    The Corn Check Off

The North Dakota Corn Check Off was enacted by the North Dakota State Legislature in 1991. The language of the bill states that 1/4 of one percent of the value of the corn sold is assessed to growers.

It is important to note that first purchasers of grain - mostly grain elevators and ethanol plants are the ones who assess this check off program.
