ND Corn Utilization Council hires Heidie Haugo
FARGO, North Dakota — November 13, 2018 — The North Dakota Corn Utilization Council is pleased to announce the addition of Heidie Haugo to their staff as Communications Director.
Haugo graduated from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in May 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education. She was most recently employed with the Minnesota Corn Growers Association as a District Field Manager for West Central Minnesota. “Growing up on a hog and crop farm in South Central Minnesota, and past experience with a state corn commodity organization, will be incredibly valuable as I work to advance the mission of the North Dakota Corn Utilization Council,” says Haugo. “I look forward to working with and for corn farmers statewide.”
“Heidie brings to our organization agricultural experience from growing up and being involved in a family crop and livestock farm. She also brings corn organizational experience from her time at Minnesota Corn Growers, thus we look forward to new ideas that Heidie will bring to our organization,” says Dale Ihry, executive director of the North Dakota Corn Utilization Council and the North Dakota Corn Growers Association. Haugo’s duties will include writing and layout of Council’s annual report, coordinating events and Council meetings, representing the Council at trade shows, fairs and other events, and managing education and promotion for the ND Corn Utilization Council.
